PC Repairs

Is your PC continually crashing? Have you lost access to your files or applications or perhaps it won't even boot at all?

Don't panic. @home IT are here to repair the fault and bring your computer back to life.

Our engineers will diagnose the fault and quote for any parts, if required. Our labour cost is fixed regardless of the time taken to repair the fault. We always aim to return your PC to the way it was in before the fault occurred, not factory default.

We'll also carry out a healthcheck for you and recommend any upgrades or improvements which would benefit your system.

What we do

Carry out a diagnosis of the fault and repair your machine. If any parts are required, these will be extra but we'll quote you before proceeding. We'll also carry out a healthcheck and recommend any upgrades or improvements.

How we do it

1. Bring your PC or laptop in to us or we'll visit you

2. We'll discuss the issues you have with your PC

3. Carry out a diagnosis and quote for any parts that are required

4. Back up any data and create a restore point, if possible

5. Carry out the repair

6. Restore data, if applicable

7. Perform a basic healthcheck

8. Thoroughly test the PC to ensure that the issue has been resolved

9. Clean PC inside and out

10. Go through the post repair report and discuss any recommendations

* Please note that this service does not include replacement parts or the removal of viruses, spyware etc. Our engineers will instruct on how this can be done or you can take advantage of our System cleanup or virus removal services..

Come to us £52.50 or we'll visit you £72.50.
Repair assessments also available from £27.50.

Bring your PC in or we can visit you (within a 5 mile radius). Please note that not all repairs can be carried out onsite and our engineers can only carry a limited number of items with them. It may be necessary for the engineer to complete the repair in our workshop before returning the PC to you. To book online, simply choose the relevant option above and click book & buy. Alternatively, give us a call and we'll arrange your visit as soon as we can. Click here to find out where we are and when we're open.

What's the assessment for?

If, after a thorough investigation, we find that your PC is beyond repair or you do not wish to continue with the repair then this covers our costs for the time taken to investigate the fault. The assessment fee is deducted from the final repair bill, it is not an addition. For example, if you bring your PC to us and it is repaired, you do not pay the £27.50 assessment fee plus the £52.50 fix, just the £52.50.
