Remote Support Sometimes it is possible for us to resolve simple faults by connecting to your PC remotely. This saves you having to bring your PC or laptop in to us or an engineer having to visit site. The connection is secure and we don't need to know any of your passwords. You can see exactly what our engineers are doing and you have complete control over accepting and ending the remote control sessions. Each session is unique so we can only access your machine with your permission. Our engineers will chat to you first and, if they feel that the fault can be quickly and easily resolved via remote support they will ask you to follow some simple instructions to get us connected. First of all, you will need to click the button below to buy a remote support session and enter your credit card detals. Once this has been processed click the button which says Return to @Home IT. The engineer will then talk you through getting connected and resolve your fault. This service is designed for non-complex faults which we anticipate will take around 30 minutes to fix. If the engineer feels that your fault would be better resolved via a site visit or by having your PC or laptop in the workshop then they will advise on the best course of action. If you have several issues to resolve then more than 1 remote session may be required at additional cost. 30 minute remote support session £32.50. |
